Welcome to the Administration Department’s home page! The department works under the direction of the City Manager, manages the functions of all City departments and oversees the implementation of the City Council’s policies and decisions. In addition to coordinating Council and Commission activities, Administration is also responsible for Human Resources, Safety, Elections, Licensing, Data Practices, Records, Information Technology, Recycling, and Communication. Crystal’s City Manager is Anne Norris. She facilitates the activities of the City’s management team to carry out Council directives and oversees public service delivery by all City departments. She is responsible for coordinating the activities of the City Attorney's office.
Administrative staff coordinates personnel services for City employees including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, safety, and other human resource activities.
Administrative staff publishes and distributes four issues of the City Newsletter for all residents and businesses, as well as a variety of other publications annually. It also manages the City’s website as a primary communication resource.
The Administrative staff is responsible for managing and administering the City’s Records Management Program and assists with requests for public information.
