The City Council appoints citizen volunteers to participate on boards and commissions to receive advice and support on a variety of issues. Click on the board or commission for meeting agendas, approved minutes, or additional information.
If you are interested in serving on a board or commission, please follow four easy steps:
Step 1 Download an application or contact the city at 763-531-1000 to have one mailed to you
Step 2 Return the completed application to the administrative services coordinator
Step 3 Participate in an interview with the mayor or mayor pro tem, commission chair, and council liaison of the commission
Step 4 Attend a council meeting to be formally appointed to the commission
All commission meetings are open to the public. Please contact staff liaisons to learn meeting locations, dates, and times.
