*The Calls for Service are actual calls to the police department for help or assistance. This does not mean that a report was taken or that an actual crime was committed, only that the police were called. This does not include alarm calls, motor vehicle crashes, traffic complaints or animal complaints.
The Crystal Police Department is using a tool to enlist the assistance of community members to report criminal activity. Citizens may call the Crystal Crime Tip Hot Line to report information they may have about criminal activity. Interested callers should follow the following instructions:
- Call 763-531-1020
- Callers will be asked to give their name, contact information and a description of the crime information the caller wants to provide.
- Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
Information needed includes a complete description of the crime involved, when incident occurred, who was involved, how and where police can locate suspects and witnesses involved. Any further questions or media inquiries should be directed to Lt. Dave Oyaas at 763-531-1012.
