The City of Crystal will have four council seats on the 2020 general election ballot. The term for mayor and three council seats representing Ward 3 and Ward 4 in northern Crystal, and Section I (Wards 1 and 2) in southern Crystal, expire at the end of 2020.

 Feb. 11  Presidential Nomination Primary pre-registration ends 5 p.m.
 Feb. 29  Extended hours for absentee voting: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
 March 2  Presidential Nomination Primary absentee voting closes 5 p.m.
 March 3  Presidential Nomination Primary Day. Polls open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
 June 26  Primary Election absentee voting begins
 July 21  Primary Election pre-registration ends 5 p.m.
 Aug. 8  Absentee voting extended hours: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
 Aug. 10  Primary Election, in-person absentee voting closes 5 p.m.
 Aug. 11  Primary Election Day. Polls open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m..
 Sept. 18  General Election absentee voting begins
 Oct. 13  General Election pre-registration ends 5 p.m.
 Oct. 31  Absentee voting extended hours: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
 Nov. 2  General Election, in-person absentee voting closes 5 p.m.
 Nov. 3   General Election: Polls open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
